Flattening package is primarily dedicated to toolmakers, stampers or Tool and Die Designers. It can also be used for sheet-metal works, in addition to SOLIDWORKS sheet-metal features.

The main functionality of the Flattening package is, that it consists of the BLANK package within, which is applicable to any user, who needs to get a blank prediction of any kind of formed part. It also contains the Unbending module, which is dedicated to automatic unbending of sheet metal parts for preparation for machining operations.
